On Friday, February 26, 2021, Glen Carl Barnhart of Biglerville, PA passed away peacefully at the age of 87.

Glen was born January 28, 1934 in Shippensburg, PA as the youngest child to Carl and Annie (Hoover) Barnhart. He had 5 older sisters. Glen graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1952.

On April 1, 1956, he married the love of his life, Miriam Elizabeth Wenger, and had one daughter, Pamalee.

Glen had a passion for trains and worked for the railroad. He enjoyed woodworking and created beautiful grandfather clocks. Glen was a former member of the Union County Gideons and member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Gettysburg, PA. After retirement, Glen and Miriam operated a craft business together, “B&B Crafts.”

Glen was preceded in death by his father, Carl, his mother, Annie, and his sisters. He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years Miriam, his daughter Pamalee Lady (Jon), his only grandson, Ira Lady (Andrea) and his four great-grandchildren, Taylor, Blake, Andon and Izabelle.
