Obituary for Wanda Christine "Chris" Robinson (Borneisen)
Wanda Christine Robinson, 73, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Wednesday, December 31, 1947 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Freeman Henry and Juanita Wanda Ewan Borneisen.
Chris was a 1965 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She owned and operated her own hair salon for over 50 years, retiring in 2012. She was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223 Ladies Auxiliary.
Chris is survived by her husband of 22 years, Garry Allen Robinson, whom she married June 19, 1999; two daughters, Julie L. (companion Duane Haire) Myers, and Freema Janay (husband John D.) Showe; and two grandsons, Dusty E. and Dylan M. Myers, all of Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Cicchitti.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Dick Warner officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday, in the funeral home.
