Obituary for Trenton S. Rotz
Trenton S. Rotz, 30, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the WellSpan York Hospital.
He was born on Saturday, January 11, 1992 in Chambersburg a son of Heather (Glessner) and Chad Stevenson, and the late John Rotz.
Trenton was a 2010 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. He enjoyed collecting DVDs, playing video games, and knitting. Trenton also loved animals, especially his pet snake. He was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren and a previous junior member of the West End Fire & Rescue Company.
He is survived by his parents, Heather and Chad Stevenson; two siblings, Slayter Stevenson and Andrea (fiancé Jeremy Coons) Stevenson; grandparents, Dennis Glessner, Brad and Diane Glass, Gary and Darlene Stevenson, and Sue Rotz; niece, Ava Coons; uncles, Travis Glessner and Eric (Carmen Varner) Stevenson; and numerous other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In addition to his father, John Rotz, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Rotz, and aunt, Heather Cummings.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Jonathan Bream, Pastor Brain Markle, and Pastor Rich Rotz will officiate. Interment will be private. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
