Obituary for Suzanne Arlene McCoy (Mozingo)
Suzanne Arlene McCoy, 75, of Chambersburg, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her home.
Born Tuesday, November 26, 1946 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late William and Mildred Bailey
Mozingo.
Suzanne was a 1965 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School, she retired in 1996 from Letterkenny Army Depot as a Dispatcher with 25 years of service.
She enjoyed cooking and baking. Suzanne loved and cherished her family and will be greatly missed by all of them.
She is survived by her companion of 39 years, Harry Dana Thomas of Chambersburg; three daughters, Denise R. (husband Tony) McCoy Franklin, Tammy Sue (husband Michael) McCoy Gillis, all of Shippensburg, and Ashley N. (companion David Noel) Thomas, Chambersburg; one sister, Dolores Unger, Chambersburg; three brothers, Paul Mozingo, Florida, Ronald Mozingo, and Ralph (wife Connie) Mozingo, all of Newburg; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine siblings.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jennifer Everly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Franklin-Fulton Chapter, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormlesburg, PA 17043.
