Obituary for Stuart A. Poe
Stuart A. Poe, 52, of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born on July 29, 1969 in Hagerstown, MD, a son of the late Wayne and Betty (Pittman) Poe.
Stuart worked as a truck driver for Meyer Logistics and was a member of Crider’s United Brethren Church, Chambersburg. He was an avid Ralph Stanley fan and loved his grand-puppies.
He is survived by his wife, Martha J. (Heefner) Poe; four step-children, Carrie (J.R.) Geesaman, Danielle (Brian) Hockenberry, Jennifer (Buddy) Swope, and Kay (Jeremy) Crumlich; six grandchildren, Dalton Geesaman, Maddie Geesaman, Hailey Geesaman, Brady Hockenberry, Tyler Wade, and McKenzie Wade; one great-grandchild, Korbie Hockenberry; and three grand-puppies, Daisy, Snickers, and Belle.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens. Pastor Gayle Ruble will officiate.
