Obituary for Ronnie Ray Russell
Ronnie Ray Russell, 66, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born Saturday, January 9, 1954 in Chambersburg, PA, he was the son of the late John William and Beatrice Louise Foore Russell.
Ronnie was a member of the Newburg United Methodist Church. He retired from both Letterkenny Army Depot and K-Mart Distribution Center. He was a Prayer Warrior, he enjoyed helping others, and loved playing Santa Clause at Christmas time. Ronnie loved and cherished his family and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by one son, Michael P. (wife Beth) Russell; one daughter, Stefanie A. Russell; four grandchildren, Carter E. Russell, Reece J. Russell, Mya E. Russell and Casen M. Russell, all of Chambersburg; and two sisters, Mary L. (husband Gene) Rife, Shippensburg and Twin Sister, Connie L. (husband Delbert) Reed, Chambersburg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Mowery Russell who passed away December 13, 2020.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services and burial will be private.
