Bob was a kind, gentle, and humble person. He was a loyal and helpful friend contributing to the lives around him in many ways. Although he faced imposing medical problems for all the years I knew him, he led a productive and serving life. He was an encouragement to me.

Bob used his musical abilities to bless friends in the Shippensburg area; they are the richer for having known him. I am saddened to hear of his passing but am grateful to have known and worked with him.

We at the Shippensburg University-Community Orchestra will miss Bob. He was a member for many years and already a regular member when I came in 2008. I could always count on him to be supportive and faithful to the group.

Bob was a very talented musician! The Shippensburg University Community Orchestra benefited so much from his contributions on the clarinet and bass. He also sang beautifully. We are grateful.
