Obituary for Nora Joan Rohrabaugh
Nora Joan Rohrabaugh, 85, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the afternoon of Monday, April 12, 2021, at the WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on November 27, 1935, in Orrstown, the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Zullinger) Ott.
Nora worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, from where she retired, and was a member of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Nora Dena Gehres and husband Joseph P. of Orrstown; one grandson, Stephen J. Gehres of Orrstown; and one granddaughter, Kimberly S. Gehres of Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin L. “Bill” Rohrabaugh, who died on October 18, 2007; a granddaughter, Debra Gehres; and her brother, Ray Ott.
Her funeral services, entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., will be private. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service. Nora will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery.
