Obituary for Mark Steven Miller
Mark Steven Miller, 61, of Shippensburg, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at his home.
Born Tuesday, September 20, 1960 in Des Moines, IA, he was a son of the late Flora E. Aquino Miller.
Mark was of the Catholic Faith. He was a Senior Master Chief serving in the United States Navy with 26 years of service. He was fun loving, a ford truck loyal, corvette enthusiast, a Washington football and NASCAR fan. Mark loved cookouts, he loved rigatoni and spam, most of all he loved the Navy, his grandchildren, and his friends and family. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew Mark.
He is survived by two daughters, Natisha E. Miller, Chambersburg, and Tabitha L. (Scott) Thomas, Virginia Beach, VA; two sisters, Leisa Miller, and Lynne Reed; and one brother, Michael Miller, all living in Iowa; 11 grandchildren, Kamron, Konnor, Lily, Grace, Scott, Kayla, Brooklynn, Abigail, Jaxin, Memphys, and Payge.
A remembrance ceremony will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the family home, 284 Smith Road, Shippensburg, PAQ 17257. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery with full Military Honors. There will be no viewing or visitation.
