Obituary for Kelly Andrew Shetter

Kelly Andrew Shetter, 54, of Shippensburg was welcomed into Glory on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

He was born in Chambersburg, PA on February 5, 1967, to the late Harold W. Shetter and Carol K. Dubbs Shetter of Shippensburg.

He was a 1985 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and Career Vo-Tech.

He was a member of the Mount Rock BIC Church in Shippensburg and attended the Air Hill BIC Church in Chambersburg.

Kelly worked alongside his brother Terry, trucking and auctioneering. He was a licensed Auctioneer and Realtor. In his early years, he was employed at Horst Orchards and Ingersoll Rand for 17 years.

Kelly enjoyed spending time with his children and family, shooting bow, spending time at the family cabin “The Broken Arrow Lodge”, attending the Pennsylvania Bow Hunters Festival, hunting in West Virginia and riding his Harley Davidson including multiple trips to Sturgis, SD.

Kelly will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Kelly is survived by his wife of 26 years, Joette Bert Shetter, whom he married December 30, 1995; three children, Kendall, Braxton and Sterling Shetter; two brothers, Terry (Tiffiny) Shetter and Benjamin (LaBreeska) Shetter; also surviving is numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mount Rock BIC Church, with the Rev. Dale Lehman, Rev. Richard Reed, Jr., and Rev. John Melhorne officiating. Burial will be in Mount Rock Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Chambersburg, 159 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
