Obituary for Judith Ann "Judy" Rauber
Judith Ann “Judy” Rauber, 72, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born on September 25, 1949 in Rochester, NY, a daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Clark) Porter.
Judy was a member of the Mowersville Brethren in Christ Church. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, baking, and playing bingo. Most of all, she loved and cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Garth Rauber, Sr.; three children, Garth (Melissa) Rauber, Jr., Michael (Lori) Rauber, and Michelle (Clinton) Bair; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Mauro, Courtney Rauber, Brandon Watson, Kristen Watson, Aaron Rauber, Hayley Rauber, Jacob Rauber, Kaylee Rauber, and Clinton Bair, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, McKenna Watson, Cameron Watson, and Clayton Watson; and one sister, Joyce Martin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, George Porter and Sandy Cramer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Mowersville Brethren in Christ Church, Newburg. Pastor David S. Halteman will officiate. Burial will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
