Obituary for Juanita L. Jones (Maynard)
Juanita L. Jones, 84, of Montgomery Village, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Sunday, May 1, 1938 in Williamson, WV, she was a daughter of the late William Harrison and Chloe Ann McKinney Maynard.
Juanita was a 1956 graduate of the Williamson Senior High School. She worked as a Legal Secretary for Thomason and Hessmer LLC. In Bethesda MD, with over 20 years of service. She was an avid reader.
She is survived by two sons, Maynard L. (wife Amy) Jones, Shippensburg, PA and Walter-Kevin L. Jones, Montgomery Village, MD; three granddaughters, Heather K. (husband Jeff) Renga, York, PA Kyla N. Jones, Milford, PA and Stephanie E. (husband Sam) Miller, Annville, PA; one niece, Brenda J. Davis, Williamson, WV; and two nephews, Jesse L. Robinson, Roanoke, VA, and Danny Kennedy, Williamson, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Jones who passed away September 29, 2018; and four siblings, Vernie Maynard, Burl Maynard, Carlie Robertson-Maynard, and Stark Maynard.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
