Obituary for Josephine E. Devor (Bowermaster)
Josephine E. Devor, 83, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Wednesday, April 13, 1938 in North Newton Township, Cumberland County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph H. Bowermaster and the late Sylvia M. Strayer Bowermaster Colyer.
Josephine was of the Christian Faith.
She is survived by one son, John F. (wife Ashley) Devor, Shippensburg; one sister, Betty Naugle, Chambersburg; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah, Alex, and Paige Devor, and Rayonna Butts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Devor, Sr., who passed away February 3, 2012; one brother, Edward Bowermaster; and two sisters, Helen Berkeley, and Mary Bowermaster.
Funeral services and burial will be private, although a viewing will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., Shippensburg, PA.
