Obituary for Jane Ann Pugh (Gladhill)
Jane Ann Pugh, 94, of Newburg, passed away the evening of Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Green Ridge Village.
She was born on February 20, 1927 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank H. and Zourie S. (Spielman) Gladhill, Sr.
Jane worked as a licensed practical nurse for Menno Haven and later retired from Wilson College. She enjoyed music, camping, reading, and woodworking. Jane also loved to sit on her porch and listen to the birds. She was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda L. (Gary) Davis, Nancy L. (Ronald) Grove, and Janell L. (Larry) Weist; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Zourie Hutchison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard L. Hutchison, and her second husband, Amos O. Pugh. Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Frank Gladhill, Jr. and Barry Gladhill.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Mr. Bill Tarman officiating. Jane will be laid to rest in the Mowersville Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
