Obituary for Helen A. "Kitty" White
Helen A. “Kitty” White, 75, of Shippensburg passed away the evening of Friday, May 28, 2021 at Chambers Pointe.
She was born on March 13, 1946 in Shippensburg, a daughter of the late William and Margaret (Bigler) Smith.
Helen was a dedicated wife and mother, and enjoyed providing childcare. She was a member of the Shippensburg Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son, James “Jamie” (Lisa) White; one daughter, Rebecca (Mike) Elliott; five grandchildren, Blake, Joe, and Eric Elliott, and Tanner and Payton White; one great granddaughter, Riley Elliott; and two sisters, Rita McMullen and Dolores Wargo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest J. “Ernie” White who passed away on March 22, 2016. Also preceding her in death is one brother, Terry Beecher.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Minister Dennis Adams officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
