Obituary for Gladys D. Rhinehart (Baker)
Gladys D. Rhinehart, 94, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
Gladys was born October 1, 1928 in Greene Township, Franklin County. She was a daughter of the late Harold and Fanny Wiles Baker.
Gladys was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168 and the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 both in Shippensburg and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Chambersburg AMVETS # 224.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray C. Rhinehart, one son, Jay C. Rhinehart, one brother, Harold, and three sisters, Esther, Betty, and Helen.
Gladys is survived by her daughter-in-law, Bette Rhinehart, one grandson, Gregory R. Rhinehart and his wife Lisa of Mechanicsburg, two great grandchildren Cole and Kara Rhinehart, one step-grandson, Rodney Masney and his wife Pam, three step great grandchildren, Zach, Elizabeth, and Alexandra, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be privately held in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
