Obituary for Frank W. Beadle Sr.
Frank W. Beadle, Sr., 92, of York, passed away the morning of Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of York.
He was born on September 24, 1930 in Apex, NY, a son of the late George and Gracia (Cooper) Beadle.
Frank was avid sports fan; he loved watching any sport all the way from youth athletics up to the professional level.
He is survived by his daughter, Jenny R. Beadle; one sister, Sylvia Van Akin; one brother-in-law, Paul Ile; one sister-in-law, Audrey Beadle; numerous nieces and nephews; and family friends, Randy and Michele Brown and their children, Chelsea (partner Emily Day) Brown, and Kobe (Morgan) Brown, Brian and Lisa Bollinger and their children, Jacob (Jess) Smith and their two children, and Derek Smith, Richard and Amy Riley and their children Courtni (Thomas) Kolasa and their three children, Chad (Rebekah) Riley and their two children, and Destiny Riley, and Julie Kingsborough.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise (Clough) Beadle, who passed away on June 4, 1997. Also preceding him in death are four siblings, June (Paul) Niles, Thomas Beadle, Carl Beadle, and Janice Burgess; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane (Clough) Ile, and Judy (Clough) Hewett.
Graveside services will be private. Frank will be laid to rest alongside his wife in the Mongul Cemetery.
In honor of Frank’s loving dogs, Ally and Miley, memorial contributions may be made to the For The Love Of Dogs Rescue, 1400 Irishtown Road, New Oxford, PA 17350.
