Obituary for Fay L. Coldsmith (Mitchell)
Fay L. Coldsmith, 89, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, March 21, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg.
Born Sunday, November 20, 1932 in Graterford, PA, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel F. and Mildred G. Basehore Mitchell.
Fay was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Nazerene.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel C. Coldsmith, David L. (wife Susan) Coldsmith, and Dennis R. Coldsmith, all of Shippensburg; one daughter, Dore F. (husband Jamie) Strock, Chambersburg; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and three sisters, Jean Gardner, Mabel Cressler and Mary Lou Rosenberry, all of Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Coldsmith, who passed away April 30, 2013; one sister, Erma B. Mitchell; one brother, Robert D. Mitchell; and daughter in-law, Patti Coldsmith.
A private graveside service will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Miller officiating.
