Obituary for Donna Marie Franklin (Martin)
Donna Marie Franklin, 73, of Shippensburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Sunday, June 8, 1947 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Eleanor M. Goshorn Martin, Sr.
Donna was a 1965 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School. She retired from Robert T. Henry Pharmacy.
Donna had a very strong Christian Faith. She was a member of the Ridge Church of the Brethren and their Quilting Club. She was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop # 121 in Shippensburg. Her great love was her family, crafting, quilting and baking.
She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Larry James Franklin; one daughter, Lori May (husband Terry) Zeger; one son, William L. Robert (wife Angie) Franklin, all of Shippensburg; four grandchildren, Cody Lee Cramer, Middleburg, FL., Samantha M. Franklin, Mechanicsburg, James Lloyd Evans, Jr., Jacksonville, FL., and Austin R. Franklin, Shippensburg; three great grandchildren, Allison Crenshaw, Carlisle, Izabelle Cramer and Noah Lee Cramer, both of Middleburg, FL.; one sister, Wanda Lee (husband Larry) Baker, Orrstown; one brother, Robert C. (Claudia) Martin, Jr., Newburg; two brothers in-law, Charles (wife Kim) Franklin and Ronald (wife Carol) Franklin, all of Shippensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be scheduled at a later date.
