Obituary for Diane L. Glass (Dubbs)
Diane L. Glass, 66, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Hershey Medical Center.
She was born on July 30, 1955 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Roy and Christina (Grogan) Dubbs.
Diane was a 1973 graduate of the Shippensburg High School and a 2004 graduate of the Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). She was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren where she enjoyed being a part of family night and volunteering at the church’s fair stand. She enjoyed camping, bingo, music, watching television, and was an avid Ohio State fan. Diane also enjoyed eating breakfast with her fellow Boyo bus driver coworkers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley S. Glass; two children, Heather (Chad) Stevenson and Travis Glessner, both of Shippensburg; two stepchildren, Lisa Anderson of Newville, and Tony (Kara) Glass of Shippensburg; two sisters, Judy (Bob) Hess of Shippensburg, and Bonnie (Denny) Rosenberry of St. Thomas; one brother, Roy (Michelle) Dubbs of Shippensburg; eight grandchildren, Andrea (Jeremy Coons) Stevenson, Slayter Stevenson, Zach Anderson, Shelby Anderson, Nicholas Anderson, Logan Glass, Brandon Glass, and Faith Glass; and one great-granddaughter, Ava Coons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by parents-in-law, John and Martha Glass, and Glenn and Ethel Glessner; grandchildren, Trenton Rotz and Tricia Glass; and nephew, Keith Hess.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Burial with graveside services at Parklawns Memorial Gardens will be private.
