Obituary for Debra J. "Debbie" Helman
Debra J. “Debbie” Helman, 69, of Shippensburg, passed away the evening of Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, Chambersburg.
She was born on April 22, 1953 in Chambersburg, a daughter of the late Lester G. and Janet M. (Wilson) Helman.
Debbie was a 1972 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. She retired as a housekeeper from Providence Place Senior Living, Chambersburg and attended the Prince Street United Brethren Church. Debbie enjoyed shopping and watching television, especially the Food Network.
She is survived by two nephews, Brian D. Helman and Michael J. (Sandra) Helman; and numerous cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Linda Helman and Lester “Joe” Helman; two nephews, Todd and Jeffrey Helman; and a sister-in-law, Carole Helman.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor John Shadle officiating. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
