Obituary for David Louis Bohannon Jr.
David L. Bohannon, Jr.,81, of Orrstown, formerly of Landisville, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home.
He was born Sunday, October 30, 1938 in Raleigh, NC. David was the son of the late David Louis Bohannon, Sr. and Anne Elizabeth McDermott Carter. He married Nancye Miller Bohannon on March 20, 1959.
David was the founder of Preferred Security Components, Inc. of PA (Cartell) in 1975, recently relocated to Shippensburg, PA.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Jonathan (Cindy) Bohannon; daughter, Leanne (Ed) Heckman; brother, Michael (Pat) Bohannon; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Talmadge Bohannon, and one sister, Virginia Sibauste.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Silver Spring Cemetery, 3611 Marietta Avenue, Silver Spring, PA 17575. Pastor Bill Einwechter will officiate. There will also be a public memorial service held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the Christ Covenant Church, 42 West Orange Street, Shippensburg.
