Obituary for Clarence M. Clever
Clarence M. Clever, 87, of Shippensburg, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, March 27, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg.
He was born on June 9, 1934 in Arkron, OH, a son of the late Arthur Clarence and Freda (Whealdon) Clever.
Clarence enjoyed fishing, camping, and cherished time spent with his family. He was also a life member of the Hub City Club, Shippensburg.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene (Geedy) Clever; seven children, Ruthann McIntyre of Bradenton, FL, Susan (Jack) Armstrong of Lebanon, Debbie (Kevin) Mundorff of Hanover, Randy (Lori) Pennabaker of Chambersburg, Brian (Rose) Clever of Shippensburg, Barbara Neil of Shippensburg, and Barbara (Inocencio) Muniz of Virginia; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Joni Clever and Kathy Smith; and two brothers, James Clever and Harold Miller.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service at this time.
