Obituary for Clarence H. "Pete" Adams
Clarence H. “Pete” Adams, Sr., 85, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his home.
He was born on October 17, 1936 in Shippensburg, a son of the late Harper L. and Ruth (Perry) Adams.
Pete worked at Kraft Foods, Chambersburg for 37.5 years. He loved hunting, spending time with his family, and taking trips to Elk County. Pete was also a member of the Ridge Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, M. Louise (Linn) Adams; three children, Deb (Charlie) Brown, Clarence Adams, Jr., and Arthur Green; five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Bruce Adams and Dorothy Adams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary L. “Dotty” Adams; one daughter, Peggy Sue Baer; a stepson, Roger Green; and two siblings, Richard Adams and Ruth Baker.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. There will be no public viewing, visitation, or service at this time. A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.
