Obituary for Frank J. Imperato

Frank J.  Imperato
Frank J. Imperato, 78, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born Friday, November 23, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. Frank was a son of the late Dominick and Florence DelGuidice Imperato.

Frank retired from the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He then retired from the United States Government where he was a Dining Facility Manager.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Anthony D. Imperato. One brother, Joseph Imperato is also deceased.

Frank is survived by his wife, Brenda Rupard Imperato; one son, Matthew E. Imperato of Blue Ridge Summit; a grandson, Kaleb; and a daughter-in-law, Kathryn Imperato, both of Shippensburg; two brothers, John Imperato of Florida and Gerard Imperato of Broolyn, NY; two sisters, Elizabeth Imperato and Linda Pasquale both of Brooklyn, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Andy Ficks. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Minute Men of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
